چکیده

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is one of the most economically important infectious diseases pigs worldwide. Vaccination various management measures have been implemented to control PRRS. However, due high genetic diversity insufficient understanding pathogenesis immunological mechanisms, PRRS still a challenge pig industry. Therefore, it develop novel strategies combat virus (PRRSV) infection. In this study, our data show that tylvalosin, third-generation animal-specific macrolide, could inhibit PRRSV replication in MARC-145 cells, suppress PRRSV-induced NF-κB activation cytokines expression. The infection experiment further demonstrated tylvalosin significantly reduce loads serum tissues, alleviate lung lesions infected with highly pathogenic strains. fever loss daily gain (LoDG) were decreased as well. Considering feature immune suppression PRRSV, combination immunopotentiator Poria cocos polysaccharides (PCP) was developed. Pig showed had better therapeutic efficacy against than PCP alone attenuating lesions, alleviating fever, suppressing production. This study suggests has significant antiviral anti-inflammatory effects infection, provides promising strategy for treatment.

Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is characterised by reproductive failure of sows and respiratory problems of piglets and growing pigs. The disease is caused by the PRRS virus, a virus currently classified as a member of the order Nidovirales, family Arteriviridae, genus Arterivirus. The primary target cell of the virus is the alveolar macrophage of the pig. Two major antige...

Pregnant gilts were infected at 90 days of gestation with porcine reproductive and respiratory virus (PRRSV) isolate SD-23983. Fetuses recovered between 109 and 112 days of gestation were analyzed for the presence of PRRSV. The results showed that not all fetuses were infected, and that infected fetuses tended to be clustered within the uterine horns, suggesting that virus is spread from fetus ...
